Danny seems to be getting a little bit of help every day. There’s food beside his hammock when he wakes up, little mini spears appear to be used to hang up his clothes on the line, plus he can hear beautiful songs being sung at night. And down by the beach, crazy as it sounds, he’s sure he spotted a hermit crab… surfing. Yes, surfing . It appears that our young professor has made some new little friends. Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, the evil Harrigan Smat and his imbecilic assistant Emmanuel Why are conjuring up plans to take over the world! By distilling a unique radioactive gel from BaaPhu, a mineral found only on Raktar, they are mutating the brains of animals to a more human level of intelligence and then forcing them to work in the BaaPhu mines. Harrigan then plans to take over his grandfather’s weapons factory and use his radioactive gel to mutate all the animals of the world, arming them so they can take over the planet! But the mining is causing great problems on the island. There’s many quakes and tremors, and the island’s highest volcano has started to rumble and bellow out smoke Will the evil Harrigan Smat and his sidekick Emmanuel Why succeed in the destruction of Raktar? Or can Professor Danny Roberts and The Krabooz team up and save the island? Back on the other side of the island, Professor Danny has indeed befriended some little hermit crabs and discovered they’re called The Krabooz. Island of Raktar – and maybe even the world – is doomed! The Krabooz are made up of four very uniquely distinctive tribes; the Somago’s , the Coomera’s , the Cha Cha’s and the K-Huds . And while they don’t always agree on everything, the one thing they do agree on is that if they don’t foil Harrigan Smat’s evil plan then the Island of Raktar – and maybe even the world – is doomed! Professor Danny realises that the best way to help save the island and its inhabitants is to send out as many Krabooz as he can into the world before Harrigan and sidekick Emmanuel destroy it. So together, The Krabooz and Professor Danny got busy repairing Danny’s shipwrecked yacht ‘Wandi’ in preparation for venturing out into the great beyond and into civilization. And luckily, that’s where today they have met you; their newest friend! Will you join up with Professor Danny and The Krabooz to help save the island of Raktar and the world from the evil schemes of Harrigan Smat? Professor Danny Roberts Hi, my name is Danny Roberts and despite growing up on the poor side of town, I studied really, really hard and now I’m the worlds youngest marine biologist. I need your help to save all my little Krabooz mates that I’ve met since being shipwrecked on the island of Raktar! Likes: Studying marine life, surfing and saving Krabooz. Dislikes: Harrigan Smat, big storms and ocean litter. Lives: With his mum when in Australia and now in a Treehouse on the Island of Raktar. Meet The Krabooz Tribes The Somago Tribe The Somago’s are the biggest-hearted of all the Krabooz and spend their time looking after the others when they are sick or in need of care. They are always tending to the other tribes (K-Huds with reef rash, Coomara’s with their splinters) and are always giving advice on the most nutritious and delicious foods to eat and where to find the best water hole to drink at. Likes: Looking after the sick, creating new medicines, making beds and eating healthy food. Dislikes: Smoking, Harrigan Smat and fast food Lives: In huts made from leaves on the great grass plains of Raktar. The Cha Cha Tribe The Cha Cha’s tribe are the island entertainers and love nothing more than to sing and dance and entertain all their Krabooz friends. They spend their time making sure everyone is always happy. Likes: Singing dancing and making costumes for their shows. Dislikes: Harrigan Smat and getting jungle mud stuck in their claws Lives: In leaves tepee with camouflaged canopies on the forest edge. The K-Hud Tribe K-Huds are the fun lovin’ party Krabooz. In between surfing and catching great waves, the K-Huds love to dance around campfires on the beach. They always make sure everyone is happy and having a good time. Likes: Surf reef breaks, making their own surfboards, wax and fruit smoothies. Dislikes: The jungle, litter bugs, Harrigan Smat, wax in their shell. Lives: In the rock caves, crevices and rock platforms of the oceans where they build huts out of Bamboo. The Coomara Tribe The Coomara Tribe spends their day protecting their Krabooz friends from bad guys like, birds, big waves and the evil Harrigan Smat. They also love building fun things in the jungle. Likes: Surf reef breaks, making their own surfboards, wax and fruit smoothies. Dislikes: The jungle, litter bugs, Harrigan Smat, wax in their shell. Lives: In the treehouses forts in the jungle.
